Practice Information

 Your Appointment

Appointments are conducted either face to face in my practice room in Berkhamsted, or online via Zoom or What’s App video call. Please let me know in advance which you prefer.

My practice is based in my family home and there is no waiting room. Please wait in your car until it is time for your appointment to start, because I might be with another patient.

First appointments take up to 90 minutes for an adult, and up to 1 hour for a child. Follow-up appointments will be shorter, and vary based on the nature of your condition.

Before your first visit please complete the New Patient form which can be found in the ‘Client Area’ of my website, under ‘Appointments’. You can email it back to me in advance, or print and bring it with you on the day if you are coming in person.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please give as much advance notice as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the fee.

 Payment

Payment is due in advance of or on the day of your appointment, via bank transfer, cheque or cash.

 Confidentiality & Legal Stuff

Your notes and records are strictly confidential unless you have given me permission to speak to others, I am required to disclose the information by law, or if I believe you are a risk to yourself or to others.

UK homeopaths are required by law to keep your consultation notes for 7 years. These notes will be stored safely according to current GDPR laws, and destroyed appropriately.

Patients using the service will remain under the overall clinical responsibility of their General Practitioner or Medical Doctor throughout the homeopathic treatment. Responsibility for adjusting or withdrawing prescribed drugs lies solely with the patient and the prescriber of those drugs.

If you reside in the UK you must be aged 18 years or over or have obtained permission from your parent or legal guardian. If you are not a UK resident, you are responsible for ensuring that you do not violate your state, territory or country's laws by using the consulting service. The condition or symptoms that you seek to address must be medically non-urgent. You might sometimes be referred to your GP or for further tests where symptoms are a cause for concern.

Homeopaths are not medical doctors and cannot diagnose specific conditions. Homeopathy is a holistic treatment that supports overall health.
